I have had a fear of dentist for most of my life. Going was a very hard task for me. Finding the right one was most important. After searching the city and making the first few visits to a number of dental office's that just didn't feel right, a friend recommended Dr. Bahu. From his warm staff right up to the visit, I felt the most relaxed out of all the others. Now many years later he has been my most recommended Doc. It has been my pleasure to be Dr. Bahu's patient for over five years. During that time, not only have I been more than thrilled with the quality of care I have received, but I have recommended the practice to three of my friends who also received consistently outstanding care. I am VERY picky when it comes to dentists, and I found Dr. Bahu just after being dissatisfied with the dentist I had been seeing. Starting with my very first appointment I was impressed by the skill and positive energy of the entire team. It is easy to have one or two great folks, but Dr. Bahu had clearly built a practice where everyone is helpful, cheerful, informative and focused on great patient care. I could go on and on about the thoroughness of my initial examination. One of the things that impressed me most was the way the results of the examination were presented to me. Not only were the results explained to me in detail, but also from the perspective of what was most important to ME. Working with Dr. Bahu's great staff, we were able to collaboratively develop a treatment plan which has, I am sure, saved some of my teeth. As good as Dr. Bahu is, I have to also mention the quality of the dental hygienists working in the practice. I am not a person who enjoys getting cleanings, but with these folks I do not mind. Sure, Dr. Bahu has the best state-of-the-art technology I have ever seen in a dental office, but the best technology is useless without the people using it - and it is the quality of the people that truly distinguishes this practice. The office itself has a very comfortable waiting room and the whole facility is very clean, new and bright. I have never stayed with a dentist this long, but I have no reason to look for another. I called for an appointment & was given one for that same week. I showed up about 15 minutes early so that I could fill out new patient forms and give them my insurance card. Upon arrival, the staff was extremely nice and professional. They offered me water or juice as it was really hot outside. I was given the new patient forms to fill out and As soon as I was done filling out the paperwork, they were ready to take me into the back. Again...the staff in the back were full of happy smiles and pleasant greetings. The staff took turns introducing themselves to me and explaining to me what each of them would be doing for me at this appointment...they each followed up with answering whatever questions that I had for them. All questions were answered to my satisfaction. Prior to work beginning, I was offered a free parafin wax hand treatment to help me relax and I accepted. It was a REALLY nice touch as I had never had one before and it did actually help me to relax a bit. Dr. Bahu then came in and introduced himself to me and we discussed my needs/concerns at length. He assured me that he could do everything that I needed done and that we could spread out the treatments over a period of time to accommodate my needs. No stress, no hassle, no pressure to do anything other than what I came for. Dr. Bahu then developed a treatment plan for me using all of the latest dental technology including computer photos, x-rays, etc...top of the line software for charting everything. Due to the automated nature of the office, what use to take dentists an hour to do, they did the same thing in about 15 minutes! I was amazed at how fast they worked as a team. Dr. Bahu explained everything to me in laymans language and also provided me with a DVD explaining everything that I needed done. All the procedures were on the DVD and I could review that at my leisure over and over again. At the close of the appointment, they worked out a no interest financing option for me that fit my budget. I was NOT required to get 3rd party financing or apply elsewhere for a loan to cover the portion that insurance didn't. My follow-up appointment was scheduled for three days later to get a root canal done. It could NOT have gone better! Took me in right away, started work immediately, paid close attention to any pain I was feeling and addressed it instantly....no waiting to see how far they could push the envelop, they gave additional lidocane as soon as I needed it. They were super attentive to how I was feeling. The slightest bit of pain & they addressed it each time....When I was done, the person who was scheduled after me failed to show, so Dr. Bahu offered to keep working and do a perio scale & root planning.....I jumped at the oppourtunity to get more stuff done in that visit since I was already numb. They were able to deep clean my entire mouth that day also! I received 2 visits worth of work in one sitting.....When it was time to pay, the secretary didn't ask me to pay anything other than what we agreed to for just the root canal....they didn't force me to pay for the cleaning that day just because they did it that day. We scheduled my next appointment an I await for that one.....this place is GREAT! I highly recommend them if you are looking for a very professional environment and a dentist who stays on top of the dental world by continually taking more & more continuing education classes.
